 If you're a fan of the leadsled, you have to be a fan of Gene
Windfield because he was one of the first to build one. He is definitely one of the great builders of all time, right up there with George Barris and Ed Roth.
The winner of the 2008 Motorama Builder Of The Year award, Gene's custom creations have appeared on Star Trek,
Get Smart, Blade Runner, Robocop, The Last Starfighter, Back To The Future II, and more!
With vehicles such as the Reactor,
the Spinner, Jade Idol, Solar Scene, King T, Strip Star, and Maybellene, Gene has been described as an innovator, an artist,

 In 2001, the Atlantic Nationals was born, and the decision was made that a
large portion of the proceeds would be directed to the construction of the state of the art Accessible Splash Park. This wonderful facility would
not have been possible without the countless volunteer hours extended by the Atlantic Nationals Steering Committee, members and families of the
Greater Moncton Street Rods, and the countless volunteers and other local car clubs who assisted in making the Atlantic Nationals a reality.
With Phase One is complete, the Atlantic Nationals is now looking forward to Phase Two of the project - the new Play Park.

 The BMO Employee Charitable Foundation announce the
NB & PEI offices of BMO Harris Private Banking will be holding a special hair-raising fundraiser.
The group will be selling treats at the 9th annual Atlantic Nationals and will also be accepting donations. If
they meet their goal of $5,000 (or more), Show Chair, Bill Doherty, will have his head shaved. All proceeds from the fundraiser
will go towards the annual campaigns of the Moncton Hospital and the Georges Dumont Hospital.
